“What If?” Meets First Thursdays

All are welcome to join us for dinner and conversation the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm and the Szechuan Chef Restaurant on Macadam Blvd in the John’s Landing Tower Complex.  We order our Chinese dinner family style, split the tab, and enjoy some lively conversation on the chosen question for the night.

Laughter Yoga Comes to St. Mark

On Thursday afternoons from 1:30-2:15 pm a “Laughter Yoga” Club is meeting in the Jarrett Wing at St. Mark.  Laughter Yoga is a new form of therapy/exercise that incorporates the benefits of Breath Yoga exercises with the physical benefits of laughter and play and can be done sitting down or standing. Class size is usually 4-12 participants.  The St. Mark class is the first class meeting in the SW and we hope to draw students from Lewis and Clark, as well as members of P’nai Or and St. Mark congregations.  The class is open to everyone free of charge, though some small donations are accepted to cover costs of utilities of the site and publicity.  To learn more go to:
